The marvellous and ideal location was within walking distance of Kodokan. We had a single room with king size bed.
Nothing all good!

Very polite and polite staff of the hotel at the bell desk and concierge. Location: the property was very close to the park. Had dinner at Sakaba Ikuramokuzai, set 5 mins away on foot.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Great location, within short walking distance of everywhere. Walking distance to shopping streets and a market across the street. Absolutely fantastic and delicious breakfast to star a day with whole meal bread, Japanese options plus salads: D

The rooms were spacious and had a fantastic shower. Breakfast service struggled to keep items stocked. Loved the free shuttle service and nearby bicycle rental for exploring. A bit far from the main attractions.

spacious rooms, ample bathroom amenities, nearby Kyoto Imperial gardens
The hotel could enhance its check-in process by being less invasive with personal information!!! The laundry service needs a serious overhaul. Simply handing out a paper without assistance isn't acceptable!!!

The room was lovely; modern and tasteful. Bed very comfortable. Staff very attentive and helpful, especially the concierge.
Would have used the pool but they were charging an extra £10 per person. This was billed as a 5* hotel, but even the 3* hotels we have stayed in which have had pools didn't charge!

It was totally fantastic! The staff was very helpful and nice, and made our stay so enjoyable! Though it is far from the Kyoto station, I actually liked the quiet neighborhood. The room has modern Japanese deco, and was super clean. Cool bath!!

We explored a nearby shrine and the serene imperial gardens. The rooms were comfy and well-equipped. The bathroom had a fantastic shower. Just keep in mind, it's a bit far from the train station, but the hotel offers a shuttle. Definitely recommend trying the local places for delicious food!
The breakfast situation was a bit off. They didn't restock items quickly, and good luck with finding soya milk if you're lactose intolerant.
